Beschreibung: WRC Rallye Deutschland 2008 & Historic - WRC Rallye Deutschland 2008 & Historicferat198210 Min. - 01.10.2008Some of my impressions of the last WRC Rallye Germany, located in Trier, but also driven on classic stages of the Hunsrück Rallye in Baumholder. Especially the "Panzerplatte", a special stage on a military base is my favourite. It includes also Germans most favourite jump, called "Gina".
See also scenes of the great show from all the different cars of "Slowly Sideways", beginning with a 35hp Trabant over Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Opel Ascona, Saab 96, Ford Anglia... The had been driven on all 3 days on different stages (each after the first run), and had a "marathon" circuit on the Panzerplatte also. Great drifts had been guarranteed there.
Too sad that next year the WRC Rallye Germany will be paused, but I hope to see some other great sport therefore, like a special historic Rallye.
